1. How to ask for deletion
You can ask us to delete your Quicc account in the app or on the website, signed in to the account you want deleted.
- In the Quicc app: open Profile, tap Settings, then Help & Support. Under Help with other queries, choose Account Deletion and tap Delete account.
- On the website: sign in, open Settings and choose Delete account. You can add a reason if you like.
Asking twice does not create a second request. While your request is being processed, Settings shows when you asked.
If you never finished setting up your profile, you are signed out on every device as soon as you ask, and your account is deleted 24 hours after your request.
2. If you can’t sign in
Email support@quicc.app with the phone number registered to your Quicc account and ask for the account to be deleted. We may need to confirm that the account is yours before acting on the request.
3. What we delete
When your request is approved:
- you are signed out on every device and can no longer sign in to the account;
- your profile details are cleared or replaced, including your name and legal name, username, photo, bio, email, date of birth, gender, social handles and profile location, and your phone number is removed from the account;
- your open tasks are closed, and your pending offers are withdrawn;
- your saved items and search history are deleted;
- the works you added to your profile are deleted; and
- your Razorpay payout account is closed once any payout to it has settled.
4. What we keep, and why
Deletion does not automatically erase all associated records: transaction and bank records, verification submissions, messages, posts and related activity may remain. We keep payment, invoice, KYC and payout records, and fraud and security records such as device and network identifiers, for as long as the law requires and while a chargeback or fraud investigation needs them. Your PAN, bank account, identity documents, address and date of birth from verification are erased three years after the account is deleted, unless a chargeback, payout review or fraud investigation still needs them. ID photos and selfies go sooner: 30 days after the verification decision, or 30 days after an open fraud flag is cleared. If you verified with DigiLocker, your Aadhaar photo and selfie were already deleted when your verification was decided. For accounts banned for fraud, we keep the one-way fingerprints of the verification details after deletion, so the same identity can’t be used on a new account. For every deleted account, we keep one-way fingerprints made from its account, device and verification details, with the date it first joined Quicc, only so that joining again continues the same free-fees days instead of starting new ones and to prevent misuse of them.
Messages and completed tasks are shared with the other people who took part, so they may still see them. Razorpay keeps its own records of payments and payouts under its own terms and privacy policy, including after your payout account is closed: Quicc and Razorpay keep the payment, payout and invoice records the law requires.
Read the Privacy Policy’s account-deletion section for more. To ask about removing information we keep, email support@quicc.app.
5. When deletion has to wait
Deletion cannot finish while a task payment, payout, refund, dispute or chargeback is still open, while a task you are part of has been paid for, or while a task you posted has someone hired for it.
We can’t delete your account while something is open, so finish or cancel your open tasks first, and let open payments, payouts and refunds settle. Deletion follows once nothing is left open.
6. How long it takes
Our team reviews each request by hand, except for an account whose profile was never completed: it is deleted 24 hours after the request. We will respond to privacy requests, including deletion requests, within 30 days, or sooner where applicable law requires. Deletion itself follows once nothing is left open on the account.
