1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Quicc website and app, operated by Quicc Technologies (OPC) Private Limited. By using Quicc, you agree to these terms and to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.
Quicc connects people who post tasks (“Posters”) with people who carry them out (“Doers”). Quicc facilitates those connections and the related platform features. The underlying task is arranged between the participating members.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use these services, and our Cancellation and Refunds policy covers cancelled and disputed tasks. When you create an account, you are asked to agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account and responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Quicc. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement and that the date of birth you provide is accurate.
Setting up your profile. In the Quicc app, after you verify your phone number, you can skip setting up your profile and browse Quicc. Before you post a task, send an offer, hire someone or ask a question, you must finish your profile with your name, date of birth and gender, which confirms that you are 18 or over.
Provide accurate, up-to-date information, keep your account and sign-in codes secure, and use only identity and bank information you are authorised to provide. Tell support if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission.
Use Quicc respectfully and follow applicable laws and platform guidelines. You are responsible for the information and content you submit and for the commitments you make to other members.
Connected AI apps. You can connect an outside AI app to your account, or make a personal token for one. It acts on your instructions, and you are responsible for what you ask it to do and for keeping personal tokens secret. It can read what you allowed and ask for changes, but each change waits for your approval, either in Quicc or, where Quicc offers it, by confirming it in the AI app, which counts as your own instruction. Paying, releasing payment for work, cancelling a hired task and changing your account are done only in Quicc. Quicc is not responsible for the outside app itself. We may limit or block an app or a connection to protect members and the platform, for example to stop automated offers.
3. Tasks, offers and proposals
Posters must describe work accurately, including its scope, location, timing and budget, and make agreed payments on time. Doers must agree to work they can perform and complete it according to the final proposal. Some tasks can’t be posted at all; section 7 lists them under Tasks and items not allowed on Quicc.
Only a Doer whose doer verification is approved can send an offer, and a Doer can be hired once their payout account is ready too; section 6 explains verification. Posters are not asked to verify their ID. Accepting an offer opens a conversation where the parties agree on scope and a final proposal. Payment follows the agreed proposal. A proposal can use a single full payment or split the work into two milestones. Paid tasks require a valid positive amount; ₹0 tasks are not supported by the payment flow.
Review the other person’s profile, the proposal and relevant requirements before committing. Quicc does not guarantee availability, task quality or a particular outcome. Review AI-generated drafts and suggestions for accuracy before using them.
How Browse is ordered
When Browse is sorted by relevance, tasks are ordered by these, from the most to the least important: how close the task is to you or to the place you picked (it counts for less under Anywhere); how well its category and wording match the skills, interests and hobbies you picked and the kinds of tasks you have offered on, saved or searched for; whether the poster has used Quicc recently; how many offers and questions the poster has answered in the last 30 days; how recently it was posted or updated; whether it has no offers yet; whether the poster is verified and the post has a photo and a full description; and its budget.
A post whose poster hasn’t used Quicc for 5 days moves down, and after 10 days it leaves Browse, under every sort, until they come back. A post with an offer left unanswered for 3 days moves down. So that one poster’s posts don’t fill the list, their posts after the first two are spread out, and under Anywhere about a third of the list is tasks near you. Posts made by Quicc’s own team are not moved down or hidden when the team is away. Sorting by distance, budget, newest or offers orders by that alone. No one can pay to be shown higher.
Keep the conversation on Quicc until the proposal is paid. Phone numbers, usernames, email addresses and other ways to reach each other can be shared in a task’s chat only after the Poster has paid for the proposal. Links to outside websites and requests to pay outside Quicc are not allowed at any time, and payments made outside Quicc are not protected.
Levels
Members earn experience points (XP) for paid, completed tasks, good reviews and approved verification, and lose XP for things that harm other members, such as deleting a post soon after posting it, backing out after hiring someone, asking to cancel a paid task, losing a dispute or having a post removed. XP from a task counts only after its payment has been held for a set period and still stands; XP from a refunded task is taken back. Your level sets how much a single task can be posted for and how many tasks you can have live at once, as shown in the app. XP has no cash value and cannot be transferred. Quicc may correct XP that was earned in error or through misuse.
4. Payments, fees and earnings
Use the in-app payment flow after agreeing a final proposal. Task payments are processed by Razorpay. Quicc uses Razorpay Route, Razorpay’s service for splitting a payment, to hold the Doer’s share of each payment and to pay it to the Doer.
- Full or milestone funding: the Poster pays the full proposal amount or the current milestone amount. For a two-part proposal, the next milestone becomes payable after the first is completed.
- Fees: applicable platform fees, gateway charges and taxes are added to the Poster’s payment. Any applicable Doer commission, plus GST on that commission where it applies, is separately deducted from earnings. Review amounts and promotional waivers shown in the proposal and checkout; rates and limits can change.
- Held payment: after a successful payment, Razorpay holds the Doer’s share until the Poster accepts the work, or until a cancellation or dispute is resolved.
- Release wait: a payment can’t be released for a period after it is made. The wait depends on the task amount and is up to 5 days, or a little longer in some cases. The app shows the wait before you pay and when the payment can be released. Work can start and be submitted during this time.
- Hold limit: a payment can be held for up to 30 days. If the work is not delivered by then, the task expires and the task amount is refunded to the Poster. Work waiting for the Poster’s review, a cancellation request or an open dispute pauses this limit. The task chat is reminded 7, 3 and 1 days before.
- Completion: the Doer submits work, and the Poster reviews it and confirms completion with a one-time code sent to the Poster’s phone. Confirming releases the Doer’s share, after applicable commission and the GST on it.
- Payouts: once released, Razorpay pays the Doer’s share into the bank account the Doer verified with Quicc. The Doer does not need to request it. It usually arrives within a few working days, as set by Razorpay. Receiving task payments requires approved doer verification and an active Razorpay payout account.
- Payout checks: Quicc uses automated and manual checks to prevent fraud. Quicc or Razorpay may hold a payment or a released payout for review before it is paid out. A payout that cannot be cleared may be settled through the refund and dispute process, including a refund to the Poster.
Raise an issue before approving work if it does not match the proposal. For problems with completed work or a pending payment, contact support with the task and transaction details.
5. Cancellations, disputes and refunds
You can also read our dedicated Cancellation and Refunds policy.
Before payment
No task payment is collected merely for posting a task or accepting an offer. Use the available task or conversation controls to remove an eligible unpaid post or cancel an accepted offer before funding a proposal.
After payment
For an eligible paid task still in progress, either party can request cancellation from the task conversation and explain the issue. The other party can accept or reject it. A requester can try again after a first rejection; a second rejection escalates the matter for support review. Follow the response deadline and status shown in the app.
If the other party does not answer by the deadline shown in the app, the task is cancelled and the unreleased task amount is refunded to the Poster. If work had already been submitted, the task goes to Quicc Support as a dispute instead, and support decides where the payment goes.
To refund a paid task, the Doer’s share is first taken back from the Doer’s Razorpay transfer (a reversal). The refund then goes back to the original payment method, such as the card, UPI account or bank account the Poster paid with.
Refund amounts and fees: the standard approved cancellation refund covers the unreleased task amount. Added checkout fees are not automatically included. Choosing a particular cancellation reason does not by itself guarantee a full refund of everything charged. Applicable legal rights and any support resolution still apply.
Tasks cancelled by Quicc
Where a task breaks these Terms, for example a task that isn’t allowed on Quicc, or fraud is suspected, Quicc may cancel a paid task and refund the Poster the task amount still held, including after the Doer has delivered work. The Doer’s share still held is then taken back (a reversal) and is not paid to the Doer; any part already paid to the Doer stays with them. Added checkout fees are not refunded. Both parties are told why.
Disputed work
Support may review the proposal, messages, work submissions, payment status and other relevant evidence. Where funds remain held, an eligible dispute can result in a refund to the Poster, a release to the Doer, or a split outcome reflecting the work and evidence. Applicable commission, plus GST on it where it applies, may be deducted from earnings released to the Doer. Support may use AI to help review disputes and support requests; a person makes every decision.
Processing and unresolved payments
Refunds are made only to the original payment method. Refund processing and bank arrival times vary. A refund may remain pending while processing is retried or reviewed. Check the transaction status and contact support to confirm the amount or progress of a refund.
Chargebacks
If a payment is disputed with the payer’s bank or card issuer (a chargeback), the payment cannot be released or refunded through Quicc while the chargeback is open. To respond, Quicc may share the relevant records with Razorpay and the banks involved, as described in the Privacy Policy.
An account-deletion request cannot be completed while a task payment, payout, refund, dispute or chargeback is still open, while a task you are part of has been paid for, or while a task you posted has someone hired for it. Deleting a post or requesting account closure does not settle a financial obligation.
6. Identity verification
Quicc verifies the people who do tasks (doers). Posters are never asked for ID: posting a task, accepting an offer and paying need no verification.
Doer verification
To send offers, be hired for a task and receive task payments, a doer must be verified. Doers who are already verified stay verified.
Verifying with DigiLocker
When Quicc offers it, new doers verify with DigiLocker, in the app or on the website. Quicc’s verification partner, Cashfree Payments, connects Quicc to DigiLocker and runs the checks. You share your Aadhaar and, if it is there, your PAN from DigiLocker; if your PAN isn’t there, you type it in and Cashfree checks it. Cashfree also checks your bank account with your bank, and checks a selfie taken with your camera at that moment for liveness and against the photo on your Aadhaar. Your Aadhaar, PAN and bank account must be your own, and you must be 18 or over.
Quicc decides using these checks and review by Quicc staff, and the app or website tells you what is being checked or what to fix. Your Razorpay payout account is set up only after you are approved.
Verifying with photos
When DigiLocker isn’t offered, and for a request already sent with photos, a doer submits, in the app or on the website: their full name, date of birth, Permanent Account Number (PAN), bank account number and IFSC, email and postal address, a photo ID, and a selfie taken with the camera at that moment. The photo ID is a masked Aadhaar, with the last 4 digits of its number typed in, or a PAN card; Aadhaar is optional. Photos and screenshots are both accepted. Quicc checks each submission, including the selfie against the photo on the ID, before approving it.
If you send an Aadhaar, it must be masked: cover the first 8 digits of the Aadhaar number so only the last 4 are visible, or use the masked Aadhaar from myAadhaar. Send only the front: the back shows the full number again. Quicc does not approve an Aadhaar photo that shows the full number. When you verify with photos, Quicc does not carry out Aadhaar OTP or biometric authentication.
Consent, checks and one account per person
As part of doer verification, you agree that Quicc may check the details, ID photos and selfie you submit to verify you, or, with DigiLocker, get your Aadhaar and PAN details from DigiLocker and have Cashfree check your PAN, bank account and selfie, and share your name, PAN, contact details, address and bank details with Razorpay to set up your payout account and pay your earnings. Razorpay may run its own checks, such as confirming that the bank account is in your name, and may ask for more details before payouts can start.
One person can have only one Quicc account, and verification details already used on another Quicc account can’t be used again. Quicc may limit how often verification can be submitted, pause verification or review an account for fraud.
Quicc may request corrected information or a new photo, reject a submission or restrict an account or payout where information is inaccurate, verification is incomplete or a discrepancy or safety concern needs review. Only approved doer verification shows a badge, and a badge is not a guarantee of skills, reliability or safety.
Our Privacy Policy describes how verification information is handled, including how ID photos and selfies are kept and deleted 30 days after the decision, and how, with DigiLocker, the Aadhaar photo and selfie are deleted at the decision.
7. Prohibited conduct and restrictions
Do not use Quicc for illegal activity, fraud, impersonation, harassment, threats, deceptive listings or misuse of payments and support channels. Do not use more than one account to pay yourself, or otherwise misuse payments, refunds, chargebacks or payouts. Do not submit content or documents you have no right to use. Do not use automated tools, including connected AI apps, to copy listings, send offers in bulk or get around limits.
Quicc has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post or send content that is sexually explicit, hateful, discriminatory, violent or threatening, that harasses or bullies anyone, or that exploits or endangers anyone, including children. Do not abuse, intimidate or threaten other members. You can report a task, a profile or a chat, and block a member, from the website or the app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or terminate the accounts responsible. If you report an intimate or morphed image of you, or someone pretending to be you, choose that in the report: what you report is hidden at once while we check it, and we act on it within 2 hours. Every report is acknowledged with a reference number.
At least once every three months, we remind members in the app what these rules don’t allow and what breaking them can lead to: removal of content, suspension or closure of the account, and a report to the police where the law requires.
Quicc may remove content, hold payouts, restrict features or suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, suspected fraud, non-performance or safety concerns, subject to review and applicable law. Where we suspect fraud, we may share relevant records with Razorpay, banks or law enforcement. A report or cancellation reason does not automatically determine fault or result in a ban.
Tasks and items not allowed on Quicc
Some tasks can’t be posted on Quicc, even when both members agree, because the law forbids them or allows only licensed people to do them. The rule that decides most cases: helping you do something yourself is allowed, but standing in for you where the law or an institution needs you in person, or doing work only a licensed person may do, is not. Paid company, dating and ads for your own services aren’t allowed either, because Quicc is for getting tasks done.
- Drugs and medicines. No buying, selling, delivering or carrying ganja, charas or any other narcotic or psychotropic drug. No buying or delivering medicines for someone else, including injections, sleeping pills and codeine syrup: a pharmacy has to give them to the patient against a prescription. Going with a relative to the doctor or the chemist is fine.
- Medical treatment. No giving injections or drips, stitching, prescribing or treating patients. Companion, attendant and caregiving help that isn’t medical treatment is fine.
- Alcohol, tobacco and vapes. No buying or delivering alcohol, cigarettes, gutka or hookah, and no e-cigarettes or vapes of any kind.
- Weapons, explosives and fireworks. No guns, ammunition, air guns or other weapons, and no firecrackers or explosives.
- Hazardous goods. No refilling, buying, selling or carrying gas cylinders, no petrol or diesel in bottles or cans, no acids or poisons, and no disposing of bio-medical, chemical or electronic waste. Moving your own connected cylinder inside your home, or taking household rubbish to the municipal collection, is fine.
- Stolen, fake and pirated goods, and wildlife. No stolen or counterfeit goods, pirated films or software, cracked apps, protected birds or animals, ivory or red sanders.
- Fake documents and someone else’s identity. No making or changing certificates, marksheets, IDs or bills, no getting a licence, PAN or passport “without documents”, no using someone else’s Aadhaar or OTP, and no renting out bank accounts, UPI IDs or SIM cards. Helping you fill in a form, booking an appointment, standing in a queue and printing or photocopying your own documents are fine.
- Hacking and spying. No getting into someone else’s phone, account or Wi-Fi, no sharing OTPs or passwords, no spyware, and no tracking or following a person. Setting up your own phone, or recovering your own account through the official process, is fine.
- Sexual services and adult content. No sexual services, escorts, “massage with extras” or adult content.
- Violence and harassment. No beating, threatening or “teaching someone a lesson”, no recovering money by force, and no stalking.
- Gambling and money schemes. No betting, satta or matka, betting accounts, lottery sales, chit funds, lending money on interest, “double your money” offers or MLM, and no crypto or share trading for someone else. Showing someone how to use a budgeting app is fine.
- Exams and coursework. No writing an assignment, project, thesis or code for someone to hand in as their own, and no taking an exam, online test, interview or attendance for someone (“proxy”). Tutoring, explaining a topic, reviewing your own draft, helping you plan or research, and mock interviews are fine.
- Fake reviews and engagement. No fake reviews or ratings, no buying followers, likes, views or votes, and no fake sign-ups or referrals. Managing your own social media and making content are fine.
- Driving and passengers. No driving without a valid licence, and no carrying passengers for money in a private vehicle, such as a bike taxi. A licensed driver driving your own car is fine.
- Railway and event tickets. No booking or reselling railway tickets as an agent, including tatkal tickets, and no ticket touting.
- Bribes and fixing. No paying an officer to get RTO, passport, licence or other official work done, and no agents to skip official steps. Help with the official application is fine.
- Children. Quicc is for adults: no hiring anyone under 18 to do a task, and no taking a child anywhere unless their parent has arranged it. Babysitting arranged by the parent is fine.
- Personal data. No collecting or selling people’s phone numbers or other personal data, and no doing someone else’s KYC.
- Paid company and dating. No paying someone just to keep you company, such as watching a movie, having coffee or dinner, going for a walk or a ride, talking or hanging out, no offering to be that company, and no looking for a date, a girlfriend or boyfriend, or friends. Company that comes with a task, such as a carer, going with an elderly parent to the hospital or coming along to view a flat, is fine, and so is a partner for a sport, a game or practising a language.
- Ads for your own services. A post asks for a task you need done. No posts advertising your own services, business, classes, page or channel: send offers on other members’ tasks instead. Asking for a service, such as “need a plumber”, is fine.
- Anything else that is illegal where the task is done.
Quicc refuses clear cases of these posts when they are made, in the app, on the website, in Quicc AI and from connected AI apps, and says what isn’t allowed and, where there is one, the allowed way to ask. A post that may break these rules, when it is made, edited or checked afterwards, is held for review: it isn’t shown to other members and can’t take offers or payments until our team approves it. We remove posts that break these rules and may suspend or terminate the accounts responsible.
8. In-person safety
Quicc facilitates connections but does not supervise or participate in meetings between members. Consider the task, location and people involved before agreeing to meet. Where practical, meet in a public place, tell a trusted person your plans and use reasonable caution.
Do not rely on a verification badge as a safety guarantee. Share only the personal and location information needed for the arrangement. Report suspicious behaviour through the app or support, and contact local emergency services for an immediate emergency.
9. Platform role and liability
Quicc is a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to the underlying task arrangement between members. Members are responsible for their commitments, the work they perform and their interactions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quicc is not liable for disputes between members, the quality or outcome of their services, or indirect losses arising from platform use. To that same extent, Quicc’s maximum liability in connection with a transaction is limited to the platform fee it collected on that transaction.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.
10. Changes and account closure
We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. Revised terms will be posted here with their updated date and version. We may ask you to accept revised terms in the app or on the website before you continue; we record the version you accepted and when. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law.
You can stop using the service and request account deletion through Settings; Delete your Quicc account explains how. If you never finished setting up your profile, you are signed out at once and your account is deleted 24 hours after your request. Deletion cannot finish while a task payment, payout, refund, dispute or chargeback is still open, while a task you are part of has been paid for, or while a task you posted has someone hired for it. See the Privacy Policy’s account-deletion section for what happens to retained information.
11. Contact and support
For a task, payment or account issue, use Help & Support in the app or email support@quicc.app. Include the relevant task or transaction reference so we can review the issue.
